How to Download Xbox Games to Xbox360

Microsoft's Xbox 360 video game console allows users to go online with their system to play with other gamers all over the world, and to download items off of the Xbox Live Marketplace. Many of the items for download are video games, and users who enjoyed the original Xbox will be happy to know that there are original Xbox video game titles available for purchase. Original Xbox video games cost 1,200 Microsoft Points, and do require space on your memory unit or hard drive. But you can play them directly from your memory unit without worrying about damaging a video game disc.

Instructions

Downloading from Xbox Live Marketplace

  Sign into Xbox Live using your gamertag by pushing the Guide button on your Xbox 360 controller and selecting the "Profile" option. If you cannot sign into Xbox Live, check your online connection and try again.

  Scroll left to the Marketplace tab on the Guide window, and select "Game Marketplace."

  Scroll down to "Games on Demand" and select this option.

  Scroll down to "All Games on Demand," and select the "Browse Xbox Originals" window.

  Scroll through the list of available original Xbox video games by alphabetical order or by genre.

  Select a video game to purchase and choose the "Buy" option.

  Select "Confirm Download." Your video game will begin to download to your Xbox 360 memory device, and your account will be deducted the Microsoft Points.
