How to Unlock All the Songs in Guitar Hero 2 for XBox 360

Harmonix's Guitar Hero series provides a fun and addictive guitar simulation. Released for the Xbox 360 in April 2007, Guitar Hero 2 cranks up the volume with 74 classic and modern rock and heavy metal tracks, 48 of which are from licensed artists, such as Pearl Jam and Iron Maiden. A good portion of these tracks are locked in the in-game store but can be unlocked by purchasing them with the money you earn in Career Mode or by using a cheat-code.

Instructions

  Sign in using your gamertag by pushing the "Guide" button on your Xbox 360 guitar peripheral (controller) and selecting the "Profile" option using the green fret button.

  Play through the Career Mode and accumulate in-game money, which can be spent at the Guitar Hero 2 store. Go into the in-game store at the Start Menu and scroll through the list of available items. Find a song you would like to unlock and select it with the green fret button. All locked songs cost $550.

  Enter this code at the Start Menu if you don't mind cheating to get the locked songs. Press the fret buttons in this order: "Blue, yellow, orange, red, yellow, orange, blue, yellow, blue, yellow, blue, yellow, blue, yellow, blue, yellow."
