How to Make an Old Xbox Read Games Again

There are many owners of the Xbox game console who have not deserted it for Microsoft's more sophisticated Xbox 360. The magnet in the Xbox DVD drive can become dislodged because of vibrations from the drive's motor. You can fix the DVD drive so that game discs can again be played by reseating the magnet. You will have to open the Xbox as well as the DVD drive, voiding the warranty. No special electronic skills are needed to get the DVD drive of the Xbox functioning properly again.
