Connecting Your Xbox 360 to Your Wireless Network
Insert the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter installation disc into the Xbox 360.
Turn off the Xbox 360.
Turn the Xbox 360 on, after waiting a minute.
Choose the "Yes, Update Now" option to install the software.
Connect the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter to the back of your Xbox 360 by snapping the tabs into the slots found above the USB port.
Insert the USB cable on the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter into the USB port on the back of the Xbox 360.
Turn up the antennae on the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter.
Connect your wireless router to your cable modem by connecting an Ethernet cable into the router's input port and the other end into the modem's port.
Connect your PC to a wireless router with an Ethernet cable by plugging it into one of the output ports on the router and one of the Ethernet ports on your PC.
Check the light on the Xbox 360 Wireless N Network Adapter, and make sure it is flashing green.
Go to the "System Settings" option in your Xbox 360.
Choose the "Network Settings" option.
Choose the "Edit Settings" option.
Choose the "Wireless Mode" option.
Choose your wireless network name. If your network name doesn't appear select the "Specify Unlisted Network" option, and enter it in.
Choose your wireless security.
Type in your wireless network password, and then push the "Start" button on your Xbox 360 controller.
Connecting Windows Media Center to Your Xbox 360
Sign into your Xbox Live Silver or Gold account.
Select the "My Xbox" tab.
Scroll to the "Windows Media Center" option and select it.
Follow the on-screen instructions, until the eight-digit setup key appears. Write this key down to set up your PC's Windows Media Center Extender.
Start up Windows Media Center on your PC.
Scroll to the "Tasks" tab, and click it.
Choose the "Add Extender" option and enter the eight-digit setup key to finish the setup process.
