Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove any Xbox 360 game discs that may be in the console. Turn off the console and remove the power and video cables.
Press the release switch on the top of the console to remove the hard drive. Keep the hard drive away from your work area to avoid any damage during the paint removal process.
Push the USB port flap inwards on the Xbox 360's faceplate. Insert your index and middle fingers into the exposed area and pull the faceplate off of the console.
Apply a small amount of non-acetone nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball. Don't apply the chemicals directly onto your console as they may spill into the circuits.
Rub the cotton ball using a firm, circular motion on an area of the console that has been spray-painted. Focus on one small area at a time. Allow the chemical to sit for between five and 10 minutes.
Wipe the area with a rag to remove the paint. If the paint does not come off right away, apply more remover or alcohol to the area and repeat.
Move onto the next section of the console and repeat until all spray paint has been removed.
Wipe the console down with a damp rag to remove any excess chemicals or paint. Allow the console to fully dry before plugging it back in.
