Instructions
Burn a CD
Insert a blank CD-R into the E drive of the computer. The E drive writes information to compact discs, and is located underneath the D drive in the computer's desktop case. The D drive also holds and plays compact discs, but does not write information to the compact disc.
Open iTunes by double-clicking on the iTunes desktop icon. Go to "File," and select "Create New Playlist," or press "Ctrl" and "N" together.
Add songs from the music library to the playlist. To add a song, locate the song in "Music Library," right-click the song, scroll down to the "Add to Playlist" option, and select the playlist.
Look at the "Total Time" on the bottom of the playlist, and make sure all of the songs fit on the CD. To remove a song, right-click the song, and select "Delete."
Click the "Burn Disc" button on the lower right hand corner of the playlist. The burn takes a minute or two to complete.
Rip Music from CD onto the Xbox 360
Insert CD into the Xbox 360 disc tray. The Xbox should automatically start playing the CD.
Select the "Rip CD" option in "Now Playing." This option is located right below the play, pause, forward and back options.
Select "Rip CD." All of the songs on the CD will be ripped. If a gamer doesn't want a certain song ripped, she can highlight the song by pushing right on the game pad's analog stick, and pressing the "A" button, which will remove the song from the ripping list.
Accessing Music on the Xbox 360
Return to "Xbox Dashboard." Scroll down/up to "My Xbox."
Scroll forward to "Music Library." Select "Music Library."
Select the "Hard Drive" option, under the "Select Source" screen. The ripped music is available under "Artists," "Albums" and "Songs."
