Instructions
Insert the square plug of the Xbox advance pack into the square connection in the back of the Xbox. Push on the plug with your fingers to ensure a good connection.
Plug a female-to-female audio connector into the ends of the red and white audio cables attached to the Xbox advance pack.
Plug the red and white audio plugs at one end of the audio cable into the two female-to-female audio connectors.
Plug a female-to-female S-Video connector into the end of the S-Video cable attached to the Xbox advance pack.
Plug one end of the S-Video cable into the female-to-female S-Video connector.
Plug a female-to-female Composite connector into the end of the Composite cable attached to the Xbox advance pack.
Plug one end of the Composite cable into the female-to-female Composite connector.
Plug the free end of the S-Video cable into the S-Video input on the back of the TV. Plug the red and white free ends of the audio cable into the red and white audio inputs on the back of the TV.
Turn on the TV. Press "Menu" on the TV's remote. Select "Video Input." Select "S-Video" from the list of choices presented. Press the "OK" or "Enter" button on the TV's remote. Leave the TV on.
Plug the free end of the composite cable into the Composite input on the back of the VCR.
Turn the VCR on. Press "Menu" on the VCR remote. Select "Video," "Input." Select "Composite" from the list of choices presented. Press the "OK" or "Enter" button on the VCR's remote.
Insert a video tape to the VCR.
Turn on the Xbox. Insert a Xbox game to the disc slot. Wait for the game to load.
Press the "Record" button on the VCR. Select "New game" from the Xbox video game's main menu. Watch and listen to the game on the TV as you play it.
Press the "Stop" button on the VCR when you do not want to record any more video on the VCR.
Turn off the VCR. Turn off the TV. Quit the Xbox video game, eject the disc and turn the Xbox off.
