What is the Difference Between XBox 360 Halo Console & Elite Console?

Like many other seventh-generation home gaming consoles, the Xbox 360 comes in several versions. One version, released with the popular first-person shooter "Halo 3," was designed specifically for the game. There are several differences between this version of the game and the Xbox 360 Elite version of the console.
  1. Color

    • While the Xbox 360 Elite is colored black with a chrome disc drive, the Halo Xbox 360 has the colors of Master Chief's armor: green and gold. The controllers that come with their respective systems have similar colors.

    Games

    • The Halo Xbox 360 came with a copy of the "Halo 3" video game, while the Xbox 360 Elite generally came with two games (originally, the games were "Forza Motorsport 2" and "Lego Indiana Jones.")

    Cost

    • The Xbox 360 Elite was much more expensive than the Halo Xbox 360. At the time of release, the Halo Xbox 360 was $399.99, while the Elite was priced at $449.99.

    Hard Drive

    • The Halo Xbox 360 also has a much smaller hard drive than the Xbox 360 Elite. The Halo hard drive is 20 GB, while the Elite hard drive is 120 GB.

    Packaged Cables

    • The Elite came packaged with a High-Definition Multimedia Interface cable to accommodate the Xbox's HDMI port. While the Halo Xbox had an HDMI port, it did not come with an HDMI cable. Instead, it comes with a component/composite hybrid cable.
