How to Attract Chickens in Minecraft for Xbox

Chickens in the game "Minecraft" are a source of eggs, food and feathers. These creatures are found roaming around in the wild, but by carrying certain seeds you can attract them and get them to follow your character. This allows you to lure the chickens into a pen or pit that you created in order to prevent them from wandering away. You can then breed chickens to use them as a renewable resource in the game world.

Instructions

  Use the left analog stick to move up to any patch of tall grass or fully grown-wheat in the game world and press the right trigger button to cut it down.

  Walk over the wheat seeds that are dropped to pick them up.

  Press the left or right shoulder buttons to cycle through your inventory and place the wheat seeds in your character's hands.

  Explore the game world until you find some chickens and walk up to them. Chickens are found in grassy areas and can be located by the clucking sounds they make. You will notice that they are attracted to the wheat seeds that your character is carrying.

  Walk toward the area where you want to lure the chickens while keeping the wheat seeds equipped in your character's hands. The chickens will follow your character as long as he is holding the seeds.
