How to Customize Your Minecraft Character on an Xbox

By default, every Minecraft character looks the same: a man named Steve who wears blue pants, a green shirt and is otherwise unremarkable. To better differentiate yourself in online games, the Xbox 360 version of "Minecraft" enables you to change your character's skin, or looks, at any time. "Minecraft" on the Xbox 360 includes eight different looks for Steve, ranging from Tennis Steve to Boxer Steve, with additional skins available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for a fee. You can change your character's looks once you have loaded a world in "Minecraft."

     Press the "Start" button to pause the game and access the "Minecraft" pause menu.

     Select the "Help & Options" and then "Change Skin."

     Highlight the skin you want to use and press the "A" button on your Xbox 360 character to change to it.
