How to Find All Destruction Spells in Skyrim for the Xbox

In "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," users of destruction magic fry monsters with flames or stun fearsome dragons with bolts of lightning. As you raise your magic level, you can find and buy increasingly powerful spells. You cannot obtain all available spells until you reach the master level of destruction magic. Several spells only become available through certain quests or via the "Dragonborn" expansion pack.

  Reach level 100 in destruction magic to gain access to all the spells in the game. To raise your destruction level quickly, cast basic spells, such as Flames or Sparks, at non-killable characters. Most major characters in the game cannot die, so you can cast spells at them as many times as you like. If you have the gold, also consider paying a mage for destruction magic training. Wuunferth offers common-level training in Windhelm, for example, and Faralda gives master-level training at the College of Winterhold.

  Search dungeons for spell tomes and scrolls. Books teach you a spell permanently, while scrolls have a one-time use. You'll find some spell tomes in chests in random dungeons, but others are always in a specific place. For example, you'll always find Ice Spike in Raven Rock Mine, Sparks in Fellglow Keep and Frostbite in Mzulft Aerodrome.

  Buy spells from mages. If you're having trouble finding a spell, this is a reliable way to get the ones you want. Calcemo, a mage in the Understone Keep in Markarth, sells spells such as Frostbite, Fire Rune and Firebolt. Other sellers include Enthir and Faralda at the College of Winterhold, Falion in Morthal and Sybille Stentor at the Blue Palace in Solitude.

  Purchase the "Dragonborn" expansion pack and acquire Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana to get the Ignite and Freeze spells. Complete the quest "Wind and Sand" in this expansion pack to buy the Whirlwind Cloak spell from Talvas Fathryon in Tel Mithryn.

  Speak to Arniel Gane at the College of Winterhold and complete his "Arniel's Endeavor" quest. You get the Arniel's Conviction spell during the quest.

  Turn into a vampire to get the Vampiric Drain spell. You have a chance to contract vampirism when another vampire attacks you. If you have the "Dawnguard" expansion pack, you can ask Lord Harkon or Serana to turn you into a vampire.

  Talk to Faralda at the College of Winterhold when you've reached level 100 in destruction magic. She'll give you the "Destruction Ritual Spell" quest. Complete the quest to earn the Fire Storm spell. You can also buy Blizzard and Lightning Storm from her after beating this quest.
