How to Get Past the Misty Dell in Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows on Xbox

In "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," your journey to retrieve the lost Horcruxes and defeat Voldemort takes you to the ruins of a building in a swamp called The Misty Dell. Here, several enemies including Death Eaters, Snatchers and the corpse-like Inferi will ambush you. Surviving this level requires more than just aiming and firing your spells -- especially on harder difficulty settings -- as you have nothing to do here besides wait it out until help arrives.

Instructions

- 1
  Run through the ruins until you find the corner with the staircase leading up. Run up the stairs and position yourself at the top. From here, use the cover of the partially intact wall to avoid enemy attacks. You will also see a Blood Replenishing Potion here.

  Aim your wand's target at the oncoming enemies. Press "Right Trigger" repeatedly to continuously cast spells as attacks at them. It takes several hits to defeat each enemy.

  Step over the Blood Replenishing Potion and press "A" to drink it if you've sustained heavy damage. The potion heals your wounds.
- 4
  Keep attacking enemies until friendly wizards arrive to help you. Once you've defeated enough enemies, the "Mission Complete" text appears onscreen and you escape from The Misty Dell.
