How to Recharge Enchantments in Skyrim on Xbox

Enchantments in "Skyrim" empower your items in ways beyond normal limitations, such as making a sword sear your enemies with fire or a shield that reflects an attacker's damage back at him. However, to balance the powerful effects of enchantments, each enchanted item has limited charges that, once depleted, revert your weapon back to its default state. By using a Soul Gem and the appropriate spell, you can recharge any enchanted weapon in "Skyrim" no matter where you are in the world.

Instructions

  Purchase or find a Soul Gem. You can purchase the item from either a general goods merchant or a magician, or find it in ruins and on the bodies of defeated mages.

  Use the Soul Trap spell on a creature and kill it to transfer its soul into any empty Soul Gem. You cannot trap humanoid souls with a regular Soul Gem; to do that, a Black Soul Gem is necessary.

  Select the weapon in your inventory you want to recharge and press the "RB" button on your Xbox 360 controller.

  Select the filled Soul Gem you want to use to recharge the weapon. The amount of charges you refill depends on the size of the Soul Gem and the creature inside of it. Using the Soul Gem destroys the item.
