How to Modify Your Profile on Xbox

With an Xbox Live account comes a public profile where you can display information such as your name, a motto and a brief description about yourself for other Xbox Live members to view. If you need to change any information on your Xbox 360 profile, you can edit your profile setting directly from your Xbox 360 console. The only requirement to change your Xbox 360 profile information is that you are currently signed in to Xbox Live.

     Select "Profile" from the Settings tab on the Xbox 360 dashboard.

     Select "Edit Profile" from the Profile menu.

     Select the section of your profile from the Edit Profile menu that you want to change: Gamer Picture, Motto, Zone, Gamertag, Avatar, Name, Location or Bio.

     Use the onscreen keyboard to change the selected profile information or, if you selected Avatar, create a new look for your onscreen avatar.
