How to Make Xbox Browsing Private

Much like Windows 8, the Xbox 360 enables users to download applications, or apps, to increase the functionality of the device. The Internet Explorer app, released in 2012, lets you browse the Web on your 360 using the Internet Explorer Web browser. While the Xbox 360 version of Internet Explorer has many of the same features as its PC counterpart, it does not include the InPrivate Browsing feature. However, you can still keep your browsing private on the console by deleting the browser history before closing the app.

     Press the "Y" button on your Xbox 360 controller while using the Internet Explorer app to display the Web Hub.

     Place the cursor over the "Settings" icon in the top right corner of the application.

     Select "Delete History" followed by "Yes" to delete your Internet Explorer browsing history.
