How to Open the Cages on Banjo-Tooie

Located near Wumba's Wigwam in Pine Grove, the Grenade Eggs in Banjo-Tooie are the most powerful eggs found throughout the game, because they act just like bombs. They can be used to blow up walls, cash registers, cages -- anything that needs to be destroyed for you to succeed. They are also extremely effective when used against enemies and can defeat bosses with their explosive might. The game allows you to carry 25 of them at any time, but they can be harmful to Banjo if he's standing too close to them when in use.

Instructions

  Travel to the Pine Grove, located just outside WitchyWorld, and retrieve your Grenade Eggs.

  Meet up with Drill Sergeant Jamjars, who will teach you how to use the Eggs effectively -- by showing you how to aim and shoot, as well as fly, while using them. Once you get the hang of his instructions, move on to use the Eggs during crucial moments of game play.

  Move into the Cave of Horrrors and you will find Gobi locked in a cage. Blast the lock open with one of the Grenade Eggs, and he is set free. You will also find Jinjo locked behind metal bars -- and he too will be freed by destroying the lock in the same way.
