How to Get Your Xbox Live Profile Into Modio

The Microsoft Xbox 360 console features user profiles that contain specific data related to a gamer's history, achievements, purchases and account status. By connecting to Xbox Live, players are able to create a unique identity known as a Gamertag. This online profile can be modified and manipulated by using Modio, a console modification application. Xbox Live profiles can be saved to a USB flash drive and then transferred to a computer. The USB Storage Xplorer application is used to extract the profile into a format that Modio recognizes.

  Download and install the USB Storage Xplorer application (digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/apps-pc/4046-xbox-360-usb-storage-explorer-xplorer-xtaf-v44-new.html) on your computer.

  Insert your USB flash drive into one of the available USB ports on the front of the Xbox 360 console. Access the Xbox 360 dashboard and select "System Settings." Highlight the "Memory" option and press the "A" button.

  Highlight the Xbox Live profile that you want to copy and press the "A" button to transfer it to your USB flash drive.

  Remove the flash drive from the Xbox 360 console and insert it into an available USB port on your computer.

  Launch the USB Storage Xplorer application. Click on "File" in the main toolbar and select "Find Device" from the drop-down menu. Select your USB drive from the list and click the "OK" button.

  Scroll to the bottom of the list of displayed numbers that appears when the window opens. Click on the last number in the list and select "Yes" from the confirmation prompt. Select your computer desktop from the list of destinations and click the "Save" button to extract your Xbox Live profile. Exit the USB Storage Xplorer application.

  Launch the Modio application. Drag the Xbox Live profile from your desktop into the Modio application window. You can now use Modio to modify your profile.
