Begin Love Hurts
To begin the Love Hurts quest, travel to Bowerstone Cemetery, located next to Bowerstone, after you've been to Bloodstone as part of the story progression. Knock on the door to the cemetery mansion; you are greeted by Victor, the gravekeeper of the Bowerstone Cemetery. Victor asks for help with an experiment he's conducting and asks you to bring him the body parts of Lady Grey, who was the mayor of Bowerstone during the events of the original "Fable" and is now deceased. There are three body parts you must find: Lady Grey's lower body, her upper body and her head.
Complete Love Hurts
To complete Love Hurts, you must find all three pieces of Lady Grey and return them to Victor. The lower body can be found in the hobbe cave located in Rookridge, the upper body can be found in Twinblade's Tomb in Wraithmarsh and the head can be found in Lady Grey's tomb in Fairfax Gardens, located in Bowerstone. Before retrieving each body part, stock up on health potions, as you must battle a large amount of enemies at each location. After bringing Victor all three body parts, he explains another part to his experiment -- that it's designed to make Lady Grey fall in love with him as soon as he reanimates her. However, upon reanimating Lady Grey, she sees you before Victor and falls in love with you.
Leave Lady Grey
As Victor pleads with you to leave and Lady Grey professes her love to you, a timer appears in the lower-right corner of the screen. At this point, you have two options to complete the quest: leave the cemetery mansion so Lady Grey falls in love with Victor instead or stay and keep Lady Grey for yourself. The timer starts at 45 seconds and counts down. If you decide to leave the mansion, you receive 10 points toward your good morality standing and Lady Grey and Victor disappear, never to be seen or heard from again. After the quest is complete, you can purchase the cemetery mansion as your personal house for 100,000 gold pieces. You also receive the Rod of Life trophy to display in your house.
Stay With Lady Grey
If you choose to stay until the timer runs out, Lady Grey falls completely in love with you, to the dismay of Victor, who leaves and is never heard from again. Upon completing the quest, you are awarded 10 points toward your evil morality standing. You also have the opportunity to buy the cemetery mansion and receive the Rod of Life trophy; you can also marry Lady Grey by propsing to her. Because of the love spell, her affection toward you is intense. Lady Grey functions the same as any other wife in "Fable II"; she moves into your current residence, requires a daily upkeep and is can have children. She also carries the distinction of being the only undead female in the game you can marry.
