Be Honest
Unlike some other fitness video games, such as Wii Fit, the Xbox Kinect system has no way to weigh you at the beginning of your journey. "The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout" requires weekly weigh ins to track your progress, so it's up to you to enter complete and honest information. By fudging your numbers and being dishonest, the only person you hurt is yourself by not receiving a realistic picture of your overall health and progress. Bite the bullet and be truthful for the greater good while playing the game.
Enter Equipment
While "The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout" is designed around using body weight exercise, you can also add equipment to the game for a greater variety of moves. When setting up your profile, choose from resistance bands, weights or an exercise ball if you have them on hand. When you acknowledge that you have the implements available, your workouts will change to include exercises that use the equipment for a greater challenge.
Health and Lifestyle
When viewing your profile, you'll notice that along with options for your weight, tracking progress and suggested exercise is a category for "Health and Lifestyle." Navigate to this option to read tips on how to live a healthier lifestyle, complete with suggestions for better progress, recipes and daily tips. Make a goal to read through these tips each time you log on for a session and then commit to implementing at least one change in your life on a daily basis to slowly build healthier habits.
Continued Use
While "The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout" is classified as a video game, don't get it confused with a leisure activity. The workouts are challenging and become more challenging as you increase your level of fitness within the game. The only way to make Bob and Jillian work for you is by logging in every day to complete your workouts, follow your trainers and track your progress for weight loss. With continued use, paired with a healthy diet, you'll eventually see results to claim the title of the biggest loser.
