Requirements for the Halo Waypoint Achievement

"Halo Waypoint," available only on the Xbox 360 dashboard menu, is a hub for all things "Halo" related. In addition to providing statistics, movies and news, players can also unlock "Halo: Reach" armor pieces to use in-game. All armor is for cosmetic purposes only. To get this armor, you must have a combination of achievements from various "Halo" games and "Halo: Waypoint" to unlock each piece.

Military Police Helmet
- To unlock the Military Police Helmet, you must have accumulated 450 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points. Your "Halo: Waypoint" points are the cumulative total of the achievement points earned in every Halo game on the Xbox 360. For example, if you had 200 achievement points in "Halo: Reach," 200 achievement points in "Halo 3" and 100 points in "Halo Wars" your "Halo: Waypoint" points would be 500. In addition, you must also have completed the "Halo: Reach" campaign on normal difficulty. Once the Military Police Helmet is unlocked, you can earn two attachments for it to further customize your look in "Halo: Reach."
Military Police Helmet Attachments
- To unlock the CBRN/HU/RS attachment for the Military Police Helmet, you must have 900 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points. In addition, you must also have earned the Pink and Deadly achievement from "Halo: ODST" by killing 10 enemies with the Needler weapon. To unlock the HU/RS/CNM attachment, you must have earned 1,400 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points and the following two achievements: "Fear the Pink Mist" from "Halo 3," requiring that you kill five enemies with a Needler, and A Spoonful of Blamite from "Halo: Reach," where you must kill 10 enemies with a supercombine explosion.
CQB Helmet
- The CQB Helmet can be unlocked in "Halo: Reach" by earning 900 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points. In addition, you must complete "Halo: Reach" on Heroic difficulty or higher. As with the Military Police Helmet, once the CQB Helmet is unlocked you can unlock two attachments to add to it.
CQB Helmet Attachments
- After you have earned 1,400 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points and completed ODST on the Heroic difficulty or higher the HU/RS/CNM attachment for the CQB Helmet is unlocked. To earn the UA/HUL attachment, earn 1900 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points and complete the following achievements: complete "Halo 3" and "Halo: Reach" on Legendary difficulty.
Security Chest Piece
- The Security Chest Piece is the final armor piece to unlock in "Halo: Waypoint." To unlock this armor piece, you must have 1,900 "Halo: Waypoint" achievement points. In addition, you must also have completed the Yes, Sensei achievement in "Halo: Reach." This can be accomplished by being the first player to defeat an opponent in any "Halo: Reach" online multiplayer game mode.
