How to Get Sand in Viva Pinata

"Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise" is a life-simulation game made by Rare for the Xbox 360. The game allows you to capture pinatas from the Pinarctic and Dessert Desert and transport them to your garden. The desert pinatas require that a certain percentage of the ground in your garden be sand. Add sand to your garden using the menus.

Instructions

  Press the "X" button to bring up the main menu and highlight Langston's store with the cursor.

  Press the "A" button to select the store. Buy a trap and exit to the main garden screen.

  Select the sign for the Dessert Desert to travel to the desert area.

  Place your pinata trap using the "A" button. Place the cursor over the trap and bait it by pressing the "<" button.

  Press the "X" button and select the bait tool. Press "A" and select your bait. Pinatas will be attracted to the bait.

  Wait for the trap to spring. As soon as the desert pinata steps in the trap, it will close automatically. Highlight the trap and press "A."

  Return to the main garden screen and press the "X" button to open the menu. Select the post office and choose the box containing the desert pinata.

  Place the trap in the garden and return to the main garden screen. Open the trap with the "A" button. You will receive a notice that you have the sand packet. Access the packet through the surface packets sub-menu.
