How to Configure B3 for an MW2 Server

Before you begin hosting your ̶0;Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2̶1; (MW2) server, you have the ability to configure the button layout on your controller. Three button layouts are available for you to use. They are "Default" (also known as ̶0;B1̶1;), ̶0;Tactical̶1; (also known as ̶0;B2̶1;, and ̶0;Lefty̶1; (also known as ̶0;B3̶1;). To configure Lefty, or B3, as your button layout for the server, you need to use the Options menu.

Instructions

  Load the ̶0;Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2̶1; game disc on your game console and press the ̶0;Start̶1; button to enter the main menu.

  Select ̶0;Multiplayer̶1; from the main menu and then select ̶0;Options̶1; to configure B3 as your controller̵7;s button layout.

  Click ̶0;Button Layout̶1; and scroll down to the bottom button layout. On screen it will say ̶0;Lefty̶1; (Lefty and B3 is the same thing). Click "Lefty" to select it as your button layout and then press the ̶0;Back̶1; button.

  Select ̶0;Xbox LIVE̶1; (if you have an Xbox 360) or ̶0;Online̶1; (if you have a PS3) and then click ̶0;Private Match̶1; to begin hosting your game server.

  Click ̶0;Game Setup̶1; to configure your match options, such as map, mode and rules. Click ̶0;Invite̶1; to invite players to your server, and then click ̶0;Start Game̶1; to begin hosting the match. Your ̶0;Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2̶1; server match will now begin with B3 configured as your button layout.
