How to Get Authorization Codes for Zombies: Ascension

The first map pack released for ̶0;Call of Duty: Black Ops̶1; features a zombie map called ̶0;Ascension.̶1; In Ascension, players battle against increasingly difficult waves of zombies in a Soviet rocket-launch facility. To get an authorization code for the Ascension zombie map, you need to purchase the First Strike map pack for the game. This can be done through the Game Add-on Marketplace in your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.

Instructions

  Turn on your Xbox 360 or PS3 console and press the middle button on your controller. Select ̶0;Marketplace̶1; if you have an Xbox 360 or select ̶0;PlayStation Store̶1; if you have a PS3.

  Select the ̶0;Games̶1; category and scroll through the list to ̶0;Call of Duty: Black Ops.̶1; Under ̶0;Downloadable Content,̶1; select ̶0;First Strike Map Pack.̶1;

  Follow the onscreen prompts to pay for the map pack. Once paid for, the authorization codes for the map pack (including the Ascension map) will be automatically entered into the game and the map pack will install to your console.

  Start ̶0;Call of Duty: Black Ops,̶1; select ̶0;Zombies,̶1; and then choose ̶0;Ascension̶1; as your map to begin playing your new zombie map.
