How to Make Cracked Earth on Viva Pinata

While cracked earth is generally only found in new gardens, and is usually replaced with soil, grass or water in developed gardens, it is possible to break down these plots of land to their former inferiority. For some players of the video game "Viva Pinata," this may serve to differentiate between gardens so that they don't emulate one another completely. Some aficionados might wish to hatch a golden-colored Dragonache, which can only be done when an egg is tended to on a patch of cracked earth, since these pinatas take on the characteristics of their early habitats.

Instructions

    • 1

Begin a new garden and save the junk that the tutorial would have you dispose of. Instead, begin constructing, capturing pinatas and otherwise progressing in the garden until you reach Level 4. This should only take a few minutes.

    • 2

Build a post office on your lot and choose to send your items of junk to the garden, in which you require cracked earth. The transfer occurs instantaneously. Save your new game file or the junk will not appear in your initial garden.

    • 3

Load the garden that received the junk. Drag it from the post office window to your plot of land and position it in the place that you want cracked earth. It will quickly destroy any fertile soil or grass there.
