Insurgency Pack
The Insurgency Pack is a group of four extra levels released by "Splinter Cell" developer Ubisoft in May 2010 for the game Splinter Cell: Conviction. The settings for these four different levels are San Francisco, Portland, New Orleans and Utah; different settings feature docks, prisons, research facilities and even a cemetery to fight in. These four extra levels include extra Xbox 360 achievements that can increase a player's Gamerscore on Xbox LIVE by 250 points.
Deniable Ops
Deniable Ops is a mode of game play in Splinter Cell: Conviction. In contrast to the Co-Op and Single Player modes, Deniable Ops levels are standalone maps that can be played outside of the game's main story, either along or with another player. There are four styles of play in the Deniable Ops mode: Hunter, Infiltration, Face Off and Last Stand. Hunter maps pit a player against 10 enemies that must be eliminated stealthily. Infiltration mode is similar to Hunter, but if the player cannot maintain his stealth, he loses rather than face more enemies. In Last Stand, the player must protect an EMP device from waves of enemies. In Face-Off, two players compete to see who can get the most kills in a map.
Downloading
Xbox 360 players can download the Insurgency Pack for "Splinter Cell" through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Any game download through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace requires both an Internet connection and an Xbox LIVE account. Once in the Marketplace, browse through the game title list until you find Splinter Cell: Conviction. Select the game, then select the Insurgency Pack download and then select "Confirm Download." Splinter Cell: Conviction players who use the PC version of the game can purchase the Insurgency Pack through the UBIShop available on the Ubisoft website. The purchase price of the Insurgency Pack extra levels was $9.99 as of October 2011.
Kola Cell
Kola Cell is an extra-level download available for "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell," originally developed for the Xbox, through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. This free download was made available for the first "Splinter Cell" title as of March 2003. The Kola Cell level is linked to the story line in "Splinter Cell" but can be played outside of the main story mode. There are four main objectives to be completed in this level, which include killing the computer programmer Philip Masse and collecting the code he developed for Nikoladze's information attacks.
