How to Get the Pig out of the Box in Banjo-Kazooie

While playing the Xbox 360 action game "Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts," you'll encounter small pink boxes all over the gameworld. These items are called "Mumbo Crates" and are well worth tracking down as they hold new parts with which to upgrade your vehicles. Some of these boxes are haunted by ghostly pigs that won't allow you access until you get rid of them. The only clue that these pigs give you is a reference to the "fabled siren's call," which is in fact a special horn for your vehicle. When you use this horn, it will get the pigs out of the boxes.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you reach act five of the "Terrarium of Terror" level. Before this, you won't be able to get the pigs out of the boxes as there is no other way to get the horn part you need.

  Start the challenge, titled "Unpleasant fat oaf," and defeat the boss character, "Grunty." For an easy win, just pelt her UFO with "Torpediles" which, due to their homing nature, will make short work of this battle. Once you have beaten her, you receive a message stating that you have received the most powerful and devastating vehicle part, which is the horn.

  Drive your trolley up to the box with the pig once the game returns you to Showdown town. Face the pig and press the "B" button to activate the horn. The pig will state that it is finally free and leave the box. This allows you to get the box and load it into your trolley.
