How to Format a Flash Drive as FATX

FATX is the file system used by the Xbox 360. It is a variation on the FAT32 and FAT16 file formats used on older computers. PCs do not support FATX, so to format a flash drive to FATX you must use the Xbox 360's dashboard. You can choose to format the entire flash drive or only a part of it. After you have formatted the drive, you can use third-party software to read the drive on a computer.
