How to Change Kinect Into a Webcam

One of the system peripherals available for the Xbox 360 is the Kinect camera system. This system allows you to use your body as the game controller for Kinect-enabled games. In addition to the motion control features, the Kinect camera also allows you to video chat with your Xbox Live and Windows Live messenger friends. Setting up the Kinect as a webcam on your Xbox 360 can be done by downloading the proper software to the Xbox 360 hard drive.

     Power on the Xbox 360 and sign into your Xbox Live gold account.

     Choose "Video Kinect" under the My Community section of the dashboard user interface.
