What Is the Ultimate Gargoyle Treasure on Fable 2?

"Fable 2" is a role-playing game available for the Xbox 360 gaming system. The game is set in the land of Albion where players complete quests by defeating monsters and interacting with computer-based characters. Some of the most powerful weapons and armor are received after unlocking hidden achievements in the game. Destroying all the gargoyles in the land unlocks an achievement and rewards the player with the ultimate treasure: a very powerful legendary weapon.

The Legendary Weapon: The Rammer
- The ultimate gargoyle treasure is a crossbow called the Rammer. The legendary crossbow was once owned by the heroic farmer Sabre who crafted it to guard his flock from thieves and bandits. Legend has it that the Rammer is as powerful as a stampede of wild animals charging a target.
Destroy the Gargoyles
- To acquire the legendary weapon you must destroy all the gargoyles throughout the land. Attached to the buildings and houses are stone statues, which are the gargoyles that must be destroyed. There are 50 gargoyles in total that must be destroyed.
Return to Gargoyle's Trove in Bowerstone
- Once you destroy 10 gargoyles, return to Gargoyle's Trove in Bowerstone and go through the now-open gate to claim your treasure chests and release the levers. Repeat this each time 10 gargoyles are destroyed.
Don't Be Fooled by the Rotten Apple
- After you destroy all 50 gargoyles, the fifth and final lever will be available. Release the lever to gain access to a path that leads to the final treasure chest. The final treasure chest will contain a rotten apple. Look behind the treasure chest and notice the break-through wall. Break through the wall to reveal the legendary weapon.
