Instructions
Place the Kinect Sensor on a sturdy, flat surface about six feet from the ground. Center the sensor in relation to your television set. Placing the sensor at the higher end of the recommended two to six feet range increases the probability of it capturing your little one̵7;s movements because it looks both across and down the play area.
Connect the Kinect to the Xbox 360 console using the supplied USB cable. Plug the cable into the ̶0;AUX̶1; port on the 360 S console. If you have an original Xbox 360 console, then connect the cable to the console̵7;s USB port and plug the other end of the cable into an electrical outlet.
Insert the software installation CD into the Xbox 360 game console. The installation prompts you to update your console if necessary. Continue to follow the on-screen prompts to learn how to use the Kinect Sensor accessory.
Use the Kinect Tuner to adjust the sensor, if necessary, to capture your child̵7;s movements. Open the Kinect Tuner using voice commands by speaking the phrase ̶0;Xbox Kinect Tuner.̶1; Alternatively, press the ̶0;Guide̶1; button and select ̶0;Kinect Tuner̶1; to open the Kinect Tuner. Then select the ̶0;Tracking̶1; option from list of available menu options. You can view a live feed of the play space on the right side of the screen while in this mode. You may need to readjust the sensor for older children and adults to play.
