Instructions
Use directional shots to keep your opponent moving. By following through with your arm motion to either the left or right side of the screen, you can guide the ball to different parts of the table. This can earn you wins when your opponent is on one side of the table and you deliver the ball to the opposite side.
Add spin to your shots. If you are hitting the ball square every time, you are not making it difficult enough for your opponent to return. Swing your arm from low to high to add topspin to the ball to make it travel faster. Swing from high to low to add backspin to the ball to make it travel slower. Varying this shots will keep your opponent guessing and make it more difficult for her to return.
Use smashes for easy points. When an opponent mishits a shot, the ball will be returned with a white trail, giving you an opening for a smash. Time the shot just right and hit it cleanly to deliver a smash.
Return smashes to keep your opponent from scoring. If you mishit a shot, your opponent can deliver a smash against you. When this happens, watch for the white trail indicating an imminent smash. Predict which direction the smash is going and have your paddle ready to strike it back.
