How to Increase Speed in Zombies

One of the most harrowing parts of Zombie mode in ̶0;Call of Duty: Black Ops̶1; is reloading your weapons. Depending on what weapon you are using, it may take upwards of four to five seconds to complete the reload procedure, during which you are vulnerable to attacks. To counter this, there is a special perk you can enable. After purchasing and enabling this perk, you can run faster and your reload speed is increased by 50 percent.

  Select the map you want to play in ̶0;Call of Duty: Black Ops̶1; Zombie mode and wait for it to load. Each map has a power switch with signs on the walls pointing toward the power switch's location. Open the doors the arrows point to until you reach the power switch, then turn the power switch on.

  Retrace your steps through the map until you see the Speed Cola Perk-a-Cola machine. There is one of these machines in each map. This machine glows bright green, has music coming from it and says ̶0;Speed Cola̶1; on the front. The precise location of the machine is different in each map, but it will be in one of the rooms you passed through to get to the power switch.

  Walk up to the machine and press the button indicated onscreen to purchase the perk. Three thousand points are deducted from your in-game point balance and your character drinks what looks like a bottle of pop. Your overall speed increases, making it easier to reload your weapon and keep your distance from the zombies.
