If you would like to create a Civilization game on your Xbox console, you should use the parental controls to inhibit any mature content that would appear on the game otherwise. You don̵7;t have to be a gaming enthusiast to turn on the parental controls. You can do it yourself with just a few clicks on your controller.

  Turn on the Xbox 360 console and then go to the ̶0;My Xbox̶1; icon.

  Use your controller to scroll over to the ̶0;Family Center̶1; icon.

  Click on the ̶0;Console Safety̶1; icon and then click the ̶0;On̶1; button.

  Enter your 4-digit passcode into the field and then click the ̶0;Save And Exit̶1; icon.

  Insert your Civilization game into the optical drive. The game will automatically boot.

  Click on the ̶0;New Game̶1; icon from the game menu to load a ̶0;kid-safe̶1; game of Civilization.
