How to Moderate Fallout: New Vegas Game Saves for Xbox 360

"Fallout: New Vegas" is a very long game, and even the most casual player can expect to log upwards of 30 hours of play time to complete the storyline quests. This means that you will have to save your game from time to time. The game provides an autosave feature, as well as a large allotment of game save file slots. Manage your game saves and the autosave settings within the game's Title and Pause menus.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your console and start the game. Wait for the introductory developer screens to load, then press the "Start" button.

    • 2

Select the "Load" menu to see a list of your current game saves, including the most recent Autosave file. Select a game save and press "Y" to delete the file or the current Autosave.

    • 3

Exit the "Load" menu and return to the Title screen menu. Select the "Settings" menu and choose "Gameplay." In this menu, you can adjust the frequency of the Autosave feature, limiting it to certain conditions or enabling the most frequent Autosaves possible.

Load one of your game saves. Pause the game by pressing the "Start" button, then select "Save" to access the menu. Create a new file or overwrite an existing file to save your progress.
