How to Copy Xbox 360 Games Using a Kreon Drive

A great way to make sure that your Xbox 360 games are backed up in the event something happens to them is by backing them up using a Kreon flashed drive and software such as the Xbox Backup Creator program. Once you have a Kreon flashed drive and a modded Xbox 360 DVD drive, you can easily create a duplicate library of your Xbox 360 video games.

Things You'll Need

  • Dual Layer DVD Burner
  • DVD-Rom
  • DVD+R blank media
  • Xbox Backup Creator software, downloaded and installed

Instructions

  1. Creating the Digital File

    • 1

Download, install and start the software program Xbox Backup Creator (see Resources).

    • 2

Insert the Xbox 360 video game disc into the DVD-Rom drive.

    • 3

Click the "start" button on the Xbox Backup Creator software, then choose the folder in which you want to save the .ISO image file in.

    • 4

Wait until the program confirms that the .ISO image is complete. The folder in which you saved the file should now have two .ISO files saved within it.

Burning the Digital File onto DVD Media

    • 5

Place one of your blank DVD+R media discs into your DVD burner.

    • 6

Open Xbox Backup Creator and click on the "write" tab on the main screen.

    • 7

Select the drive in which you are burning the files to from the next menu. Hit "start."

    • 8

Select the files in the folder that you saved the .ISO files to. Your new game disc will burn with your DVD burner drive and will create a duplicate of your original Xbox 360 video game disc.
