How to Setup a DSL-360T for XBox Use

When trying to connect your Xbox or Xbox 360 to the Xbox Live service through your D-Link DSL-360T modem, you shouldn't need to do any extra configuration. The DSL-360T is a modem and does not offer router-specific features like a firewall or port forwarding that can sometimes act as a stumbling block when trying to connect to Xbox Live. By following a few instructions, you can set up your DSL-360T with your Xbox or Xbox 360.

      Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the available port on the back of your DSL-360T. Connect the other end of the cable to the port on the back of your Xbox or Xbox 360.

      Start the console without a disc inside. This will allow you to boot into the system's dashboard.

      Navigate to the setup tab and test your network connection on your Xbox. If using an Xbox 360, your system will automatically try to connect to Xbox Live when loading the dashboard.
