Finding a Partner
Finding a partner in "Fable 2" is fairly easy. First, you have to choose one of the myriad non-player characters, or NPCs, that populate the "Fable 2" universe. Each of these NPCs is slightly different in appearance, temperament and social standing, so find out more about the character before you decide to pursue her. If you are seeking a gay relationship, look at the NPC's information sheet to make sure that she would be amenable to same-sex advances before attempting pursuit.
Wooing
An NPC's information sheet tells you about his favorite actions and gifts. Use these actions frequently when interacting with him to gain his favor. Once you are friends, you can begin to include more romantic actions, like kissing, and give him gifts to take your relationship to the next level. When the NPC begins to like you romantically, a pink heart appears above his head. When the heart turns red, you know he's in love.
Marriage
Once your NPC is in love with you, it's time to take the plunge and ask her to marry you. Pick up a ring from a local stall vendor -- making sure to match the ring's value to your beloved's social status -- and use the Propose action to pop the question. If she accepts your proposal, you can go ahead and marry. You can choose to marry in a lavish ceremony or a simple one; make sure to choose the option your soon-to-be spouse would prefer.
Starting a Family
Married or not, your character can have sex with NPCs in the game. It's possible to have either homosexual or heterosexual sex; the only real requirement is that the NPC is interested in your character. Not surprisingly, however, even unprotected homosexual sex does not result in a pregnancy. If you want to start a same-sex family, you have a couple of options: have unprotected, adulterous sex, or play out the game -- including marriage and childbearing -- as the opposite sex, then use the "gender bending" potion at the end of the game to change gender.
