How to Get the Gold Skull in Castle Crashers

  Raise your character to a high level and access Insane mode from the game's world map. Insane mode is extremely difficult and recommended only for skilled players who have raised their character to at least Level 40.

  Complete each level in the main game in Insane mode. Smarter, faster enemies have more health and will inflict more damage upon your character, despite your improved health stats.

  Visit the character selection screen after completing the game on Insane mode. The skull icon adjacent to your character will have been replaced with a golden skull, indicating your completion of the game's most difficult challenges.

Gold Skull Mace

  Select the Downloadable Content option from the title screen of the game. Locate the "Necromancer" DLC. Purchase the character pack to download a new character and his companion, as well as a set of new weapons. The Gold Skull Mace is included in this pack.

  Start a new online game and locate a fellow player who uses the Necromancer character, if you don't want to buy the "Necromancer" DLC. Wait for your Necromancer teammate to use or acquire the Gold Skull Mace. Ask him to drop the weapon and allow you to use it. If the player is reluctant, offer to return the item immediately and follow through, since the Gold Skull Mace will be added to your arsenal after it has been picked up one time.
