How to Get a Cactus Seed on Viva Pinata

Cactus, a favorite food for desert animals like Vulchurro and Camello, has many uses in "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise." For example, the Cluckles Pinata transforms into a Chocstrich when it eats two cactus seeds, and certain Pinatas learn special tricks when they eat a whole cactus. You unlock cactus seeds when you level up your garden. After you unlock cactus seeds, you can get some when you buy them using your seed pouch, visit Costolot's Store or talk to the local seed fanatic, Seedos.

  Raise your garden level to 8 or higher. At level 8, cactus seeds are available to buy. To increase your level, find new Pinatas, breed them or grow plants.

  Talk to Seedos, the seed lover, when he stops by your garden. Seedos is the short man wearing glasses and a yellow outfit. At random, he gives you a cactus seed for free.

  Use your seed packet tool to buy cactus seeds. Press "Up" on the D-Pad to open the seed packet when you are in the garden. Scroll through the seed list and buy the cactus seed for 79 coins. This method saves you time if you do not want to visit the store.

  Pause the game and select "Costolot's General Store." Buy a cactus seed here in the same way as you would buy one with the seed packet.
