Ninja Gaiden Two Help

"Ninja Gaiden II" for the Xbox 360 features 14 different chapters -- or levels -- of excitement, all of which require a strategy to fight through. Knowing how to obtain certain weapons, when to use certain attack moves and how to protect yourself is crucial. The more strategies you know, the faster you can beat all 25 bosses within the game and proceed to your next virtual adventure.
  1. Protecting Yourself

    • Keep a close eye on your health bar throughout the game, especially the blue portion which represents how much life you have left. If you can dodge your enemy's blows, the blue portion of your health bar will begin to refill. Locate as many blue orbs as possible. The blue orbs also refill your health bar. Always remain in a defensive position when not attacking by blocking. When an enemy is attacking you, keep blocking while also pressing either attack button. This causes you to perform a counterattack. However, your counterattack has to be perfectly timed to work. It only works if you press attack at the exact moment that your enemy is attacking you.

    Attacking

    • Although you gain more attack moves as you progress through the game, the attack moves you begin with are the most effective, according to the gamer website IGN Guides. The "Flying Swallow" attack move allows you to decapitate your enemies from a long range. The "Flying Swallow" move will not leave you overly exposed to enemy attack. This move comes in handy when facing a large number of foes heading your way. Red orbs fully charge your attack meter. Once red flames surround you, your attack meter is fully charged and you can perform the "Ultimate Technique" attack move. This move dispenses of numerous enemies at once.

    The Weapons

    • Completing certain tasks within "Ninja Gaiden II" grants you access to powerful weapons you can use to dispose of your enemies. Chapter four takes place at the Statue of Liberty's base. In the first room, you see a glass display case that holds the Dragon's Claw and the Tiger's Fang, two weapons you can grab and use. In chapter 6, you can grab the Eclipse Scythe after defeating Volf. Killing the ninjas in the building right before you get to the Dragon Shine in chapter two earns you the Falcon's Talons. Grab the Kasari-Gama from the hand of a dead ninja in chapter five. The dead ninja can be located on the second bridge. Grab the Lunar Staff from the statue that is holding it in Chapter One. In Chapter Seven, you can take the Tonfa from a dead ninja who is located in the storage room.

    Dealing With Bosses

    • Certain bosses within "Ninja Gaiden II" can be destroyed with one hit if their life meter is low enough. Such bosses include the Silver Worm and the Fire Armadillo. After these bosses have been attacked enough, they become stunned. Simply walk up to them and press the "Y" button to obliterate them. This move only works for bosses who become stunned. If a boss is putting up a good fight even with low health, this tactic will not work.
