How Do You Change Your Xbox Gamertag Password?

Xbox 360 offers a service called Xbox LIVE that enables you to play games online with other players, download games instantly and use applications such as Netflix and Zune. To get Xbox LIVE, you must create a membership with your Windows Live ID, then choose a gamertag and password. If you already have an Xbox LIVE account, you can change your current password using the "Account Management" settings.

  Turn on your Xbox 360, go to "My Xbox" and click "A" to sign in to your gamertag. Click "A" again once your avatar appears on the screen.

  Click "Account Management" and select "Manage Account." Scroll over to the "Your Information" tab and click "Windows Live ID."

  Click "Change Password" and enter your current password. Enter your new password, then enter it again for verification. Click "Change Now" to change your password.
