How to Get the Hiking Badge Achievement in Up

"Disney-Pixar's Up" centers its game play on a widower named Carl and a wilderness explorer named Russell, following the movie with the same name on which it is based. Like all other Xbox 360 games, you can earn achievements, such as the Hiking Badge, by accomplishing certain in-game tasks. This achievement is easy to earn but is frequently missed due to its requiring players to run off the normal path to find it.

     Load your saved game in "Disney-Pixar's Up."

   • 2

     Play through the game until you reach the cave in the Paradise Falls level.

   • 3

     Look for the cliff in the large, open area, immediately after the section with the bats.

   • 4

     Kick the boulder sitting on the platform, allowing you to walk onto it. As you approach the end of the platform, the achievement will appear.
