How to Get Magneto on Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" is an action game that draws upon the cast of several comic book universes, including "Spiderman" and "The X-Men." Players can assume the roles of both heroes and villains from the series, though not all of them are available in every version. "Ultimate Alliance" has ports for several major consoles, but only the Xbox 360 version lets players assume the role of Magneto. Even then, they have to download the "Villains DLC" to unlock him.

  Reset or turn on your Xbox 360 to get to the System Menu.

  Select the "Xbox Marketplace" from the System Menu.

  Click on "Search" and then type in "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance."

  Choose the "Villains DLC." Alternatively, if you want both the "Villains" and "Heroes" DLC, get the combo pack. By itself, "Villains" is 500 points. The combo costs 800 points.

  Confirm your purchase. The DLC will automatically download and install. Once it's done, return to "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance." You can now select "Magneto" as a playable character.
