Glyphs
A total of 20 glyphs appear in "Assassin's Creed II." They look like glowing symbols located on the walls of landmark buildings throughout the game. You can find five glyphs in Florence, four in Tuscany, two in Forli, seven in Venice and one in Ezio's villa. Many glyphs are well hidden, so look around all sides of the unique buildings you come across. You can find the glyphs in any order.
Puzzles
Look at a glyph with eagle vision on to launch a puzzle. All the Truth puzzles in "Assassin's Creed II" fall into one of four types. The most common puzzle involves finding a hidden item in a photograph. Another gives you cryptic prompt, which you'll use to pick the correct images from a set. The third type features rotating rings which must be aligned. Finally, a few puzzles require you to enter a code, determined by studying the provided hints.
Video Contents
The "Truth" video contains a memory left behind by a previous captive in the Animus, Subject 16. In it, a man and woman, identified as "Adam" and "Eve" run through a futuristic-looking building, apparently escaping from something. On the way, they pass by a shadowed figure holding a Piece of Eden. The two emerge on a rooftop with Eve holding another Piece of Eden, exclaiming "Adam, I have it!" followed by "Look out!" The video then cuts to a binary code which translates to "EDEN."
Hidden Messages
In addition to unlocking the final video, the hidden object puzzles in "The Truth" contain bonus secret messages. You can find these messages by scanning the cursor around the pictures. Each message is encrypted, appearing either in an alternate notation such as binary or hexadecimal or through use of a cipher. Decrypting these messages provides an extra insight into the image's relevance to the "Assassin's Creed" world, though none directly advances the story.
