How to Increase Luck in Fallout: New Vegas

In the video game "Fallout: New Vegas," the luck attribute affects almost every action you perform that involves chance. If you increase your luck, you will score critical hits with greater frequency and you will have a higher probability of success when you perform any special skill. You can increase your luck attribute when you level up and obtain new perks, or you can improve your luck by equipping certain special items.

Instructions

    • 1

Select the "Intense Training" perk when you level up to gain an additional attribute point. You can spend the point on any attribute, including luck, up to a maximum value of ten.

    • 2

Purchase the "Luck Implant" at the New Vegas Medical Clinic for 4,000 caps. The implant increases your luck attribute by one point.

    • 3

Purchase or steal the "Naughty Nightwear" item from Mick and Ralph's in the city of Freeside. The nightwear increases your luck attribute by one point and your speech attribute by ten points.

    • 4

Select the "Cannibal" perk when you level up. This perk allows you to eat the corpses of your enemies. Eat the corpse of one of the key characters in New Vegas, such as President Kimball, The King, Caesar or Mr. House, to earn the "Meat of Champions" perk. This perk increases your luck, strength, intelligence and charisma attributes by one point.

    • 5

Steal the "Lucky Shades" item from Caesar's Legion safe house. You can only enter the safe house when you are liked by Caesar's Legion. The shades increase your luck by one point.
