How to Use a Maximus Toolbox

The Maximus Toolbox is a graphic firmware tool that is used for changing various DVD-drive options for the Xbox 360 PC. Firmware can be copied and pasted from any hardware device, regardless of vendor or version. The Maximus Toolbox also allows you to easily flash and restore software updates, allowing you to easily install newer or older versions. To use a Maximus Toolbox, you will need to first download the tool and install it.

  Download Maximus Toolbox from a Xbox 360 site such as Xbox-Scene, ConsoleUpdates or DashHacks.

  Unpack the Toolbox contents and double-click on the application launcher, click on "Options," and choose "Enable Windows Context Menu." Close the application once complete.

  Right-click the file you wish to change, and select "Open with Firmware Toolbox," or you can launch the Toolbox application and click "File" and select "Open," choosing the file through the application.

  Change the key information, serial number, owner name and description of the file.

  Click "Save Tag Data" to save any owner or tag information.

  Close the application file to save all file changes.
