  Connect an USB cable to the one of the USB ports on the Xbox 360 and plug the other end into a computer. Go to ̶0;Start,̶1; ̶0;Control Panel,̶1; then click the ̶0;Add New Hardware Wizard.̶1; Highlight the ̶0;Xbox 360̶1; drive and click ̶0;Next.̶1; The drive now appears in the control panel.

  Go to ̶0;Tools̶1; and ̶0;Direct Drive Flash.̶1; Open the hacked firmware file for ̶0;78/79.̶1; Insert your drive̵7;s original key into the ̶0;Original Key̶1; field and press ̶0;Save.̶1;

  Click the ̶0;Tools̶1; tab and select ̶0;Direct Drive Flash (GDR Only)̶1; then select ̶0;Differential Flash (Patch).̶1;

  Select your drive from the drop-down list and click ̶0;Read and Detect Differences.̶1; Select ̶0;Start Flashing̶1; and wait for the status bar to reach 100 percent. Unplug the USB from the computer and Xbox.
