How to Install My Xtractor Pro V1.2

If you have an Xtractor 2 (Pro) installed to your Xbox 360 and are experiencing difficulty, then you can flash the firmware to version 1.2 to improve performance. Xtractor is used to connect your Xbox 360 to external hard drives or computer drives so that you can play open-source software or games on them, along with performing maintenance tasks in case of emergency. The firmware is flashed using the XT2 Flash Updater program that is installed when you first set up Xtractor.

     Download the version 1.2 firmware from the Xtractor Pro official website.

     Double-click the archive to extract your firmware.

     Open the XT2 Flash Updater program. Make sure your Xbox is turned on and it is connected properly. Click the "Com Port" drop-down and select your correct port. Change the "Baud Speed/Rate" to "115200."

     Click "Flash Device." Locate and select the Flash file. Click "OK" when the test is complete. You can now disconnect your computer.
