How to Get Eaglair in Viva Pinata

Eaglair, whose name is a portmanteau of "eagle" and "eclair," is a large, colorful pinata bird that players can obtain as a garden resident in Rare's garden simulation game, "Viva Piñata." As players expand their gardens in the game, they may attract new piñata species incidentally; however, players can strategically develop gardens to more efficiently acquire specific types of piñata residents. Each piñata species, including the Eaglair, has a unique set of garden prerequisites that players must fulfill before one of its members will establish permanent residency in the garden.

Instructions

    • 1

Count the number of unique piñata species currently living your garden. If you have fewer than 15 species, press "F3" on your keyboard to open your garden journal. To open your journal on the Xbox 360, press "X" on your controller and use your left analog stick to select your journal from the radial menu.

    • 2

Use your mouse or the left analog stick on your Xbox 360 controller to view the residency requirements for each pinata species listed in your journal. Fulfill any of these requirements to gain residents until you have at least 15 resident species, one of which must be the "Buzzenge." To conserve your garden's space and resources, select piñatas for your garden with similar requirements.

Visit Costolot's General Store in your village, and find an oak seed in the shop's inventory. Click or press "A" to purchase the seed and use your mouse or left analog stick to select a location in your garden to plant the seed. Wait for the Eaglair to visit your garden. Allow the Eaglair to eat your resident Buzzenges. When the Eaglair has consumed four Buzzenges, it will become a permanent resident of your garden.
