How to Rescue Charlie Without Dying in Fable 2

The Xbox 360 game "Fable II" is the third in the Fable action role-playing game (RPG) series from Lionhead Studios. Released in 2008, the game is set hundreds of years after the action of the original game. In "Fable II," most of Albion consists of uncharted land, and those who explore it often get lost. This is the problem for Granny Miggins' grandson, Charlie. Charlie left home to explore a cave near Bower Lake, but Granny Miggins worries when he does not return home. When you enter the cave to find him, swarms of Hollow Men attack you. To avoid dying or losing Charlie, cast your most powerful spells to ward off the Hollow Men.

Instructions

- 1
  Follow the golden trail to Bower Lake cavern after Granny Miggins asks you to rescue Charlie. Run straight ahead in the cave to find Charlie.

  Position yourself by the stairs when Charlie tries to open the sarcophagus. Hold down the "B" button to charge your equipped radius attack spell, such as Inferno, Blades or Vortex.

  Release the "B" button when the Hollow Men enemies get close to the stairs. A fully charged spell kills most Hollow Men instantly. Take out any stragglers with your sword. When more Hollow Men appear, charge and release another spell.

  Open the sarcophagus when the Hollow Men stop appearing. Pick up the Looter's Note. More Hollow Men appear. Charlie suggests that you both leave the cave.

  Cast the Time Control spell to slow down time. While Time Control is active, charge an attack spell to its highest level and then cast it.

  Run through the cave to get Charlie to follow you. If any Hollow Men get close to Charlie, kill them before they attack. If Charlie dies, the mission ends.

  Approach the locked gate that blocks your way out of the cave. Step on the panel on the right side of the cave to open the gate. Lead him to back to Granny Miggins to complete the mission.
